Tips On How To Hunt The Best Jobs

Have you ever wondered how come your mates got so great jobs, since there weren't any employment ads posted on the Internet and neither in the local newspapers? Or generally speaking, how come people get great jobs if the big companies are never hiring directly?

Well, honestly speaking, it's not their fault that you are not looking in the right places, but put it this way: if you were in the shoes of a CEO of a big company and you were in a desperate need of finding someone for an important job, would you post the employment ad in a newspaper, so that everyone would come and ask for details, even the ones that are not even close to be qualified for such a job? We guess not.

Therefore, here are some tips on how to hunt the best jobs.

First of all, you have to know one thing: the best jobs can be found only at the most important recruitment companies. Nowadays, top companies don't even think to hire people on their own, as the costs to interview and to test all of the people that would be interested of the job would be more than too big to be bearable for the economy of the company. Therefore, the job of hiring the most competent person is passed to a specialized recruiter.

As well, here is another tip: make connections! Make connections wherever and whenever you can, especially if they are working in some nice places. After all, they will be the first one to know that a job may appear, and if you play your dices correctly, you will also find out - before others will find out too -. And who knows, maybe some of the people you will meet can even help you to get the job.

Now, the third tip is a classic one, but can be very helpful: look through the business magazines and check the new buildings that are being made in your town. Why? Because, where there is a new business building, there are also new jobs. Therefore, find out who is the company that will be the owner and start bombing them with CVs. Even if you may be ignored, somebody will sooner or late read your CV and give you a call, especially if he/she has seen that you were so interested of their company.
